The Ballet Pod has a wonderfully successful Christmas season

The Ballet Pod is delighted to have articles about recent performances in both The Oswestry Advertiser and The Wrexham Leader this week.

With a lovely message from audience members Moira and Mike Gleed who attended the performance.

‘We want to thank you all for a truly magical event at Chirk Parish Hall in the run-up to Christmas. We can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed it. The welcome and atmosphere made us feel instantly at home. The dancing and singing skills of the Ballet Pod members took our breath away – we were captivated. We also loved seeing and experiencing upcoming talent and the inclusivity of your work in the community. We’ll look forward to hearing about future events in 2023.’

Come and join The Ballet Pod for another wonderful afternoon of song and dance. From The Nutcracker pas de deux, excerpts from Swan Lake and baroque dancing, to new choreographies and Viennese Strauss polkas, there is something for everyone. Interspersed with the dancing will be a lovely variety of songs.

We are very excited to announce that this year, the performance will incorporate children from the local community in dances from The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. There will also be a performance from our very own local inclusive dance group Making Waves, led by Michael Wall.

Festive light refreshments will also be enjoyed!

The Ballet Pod has been serving the local community for 15 years and is thrilled to be able to once again return this year with further outreach to Chirk and the surrounding areas.
